Patternmaking
Summit’s capacity to produce high quality models and patterns is unparalleled, whether they be hand made by highly experienced pattern and model makers or produced by expert machine operators using the latest CNC machinery/software and CAD/CAM design technology.
Gauging, Nests & Checking Fixtures
Summit produces Gauges, Jigs & Fixtures predominately to the automotive and aerospace sectors. Summit have grown alongside these industries over the past 25 years to become one of the UK’s and Europe’s leading gauge suppliers.
Styling and Modelling
Since its inception Summit and their highly skilled workforce have participated in the creation, development and production of automotive, aeronautic and marine models and concepts. We are adept in producing Full or partial ergonomic vehicles and produce on site scaled and full size models for clients that range from Formula 1 through to private commissioned projects.
CNC & EDM
Summit currently operates a large capacity, high speed CNC machining department, producing high quality moulds, patterns, jigs, fixtures and prototype parts. This facility is constantly being updated to ensure Summit can offer the widest range of services possible to its customers.
CAD / CAM
Summit’s highly experienced CAD/CAM team, along with company management, are constantly reviewing and investing in the latest CAD/CAM technologies. Summit offers exemplary capabilities in CAD/CAM design and manufacture, and, excellent customer care and communication through its experienced CAD team.
CMM
Summit has recently invested in expanding its CMM department. They now have 5 manual CMM arms completing work ranging from validation reports for each gauge or checking fixture produced by Summit to capability studies on Aerospace casting.
